The Chevalier Family draws together those women and men who
live from the Spirituality of the Heart and
feel themselves animated by the charism of
Father Chevalier, namely the Missionaries of
the Sacred Heart, the Daughters of Our Lady
of the Sacred Heart, the Missionary Sisters
of the Sacred Heart, and the Lay Associates.

Cor Novum
(Latin; 'New Heart') in Issoudun - France, is an international
spirituality center with a threefold purpose: |
|
|
1. To engage
in research and writing regarding our charism and mission. |
|
2. To offer
programmes of various kinds in Issoudun; programmes designed for the
spiritual and
ministerial formation of the religious members of the three
Congregations and their lay associates and, |
|
3. To enable
the team members of the centre to participate and respond to
invitations to courses,
retreats and meetings taking place in the different countries of
the Chevalier Family throughout the
world. |

The
international team is composed by members of the Congregations. |
|
|

CHEVALIER CENTENNIAL |
|
|
From
September 30 - October 21, 2007, the three Congregations of the
Chevalier Family with the Lay Associates will celebrate 100th
Anniversary
of the death of
Jules Chevalier (1824-1907), in Issoudun, France. In the Symposium,
both historical and contemporary themes regarding Fr. Chevalier and
the Spirituality of the Heart will be presented.

TRI-GENERALATE |
|
|
One expression
of the common charism and mission are the meetings of the members of
General Leadership Teams of the MSC, FDNSC Sisters, MSC Sisters of
the Chevalier Family.
Since 1983 they meet regularly as the Tri-Generalate for mutual
support, collaboration in mission and for discussion of common
issues concerning the whole Chevalier Family. |
